A teenager usually makes his/her subject choice in Grade 9. To make a good subject choice at this tender age is a huge decision, requiring guidance. Failing to make a good subject choice could possibly lead to a limited and limiting career choice. The career choice is usually finalized in the latter half of Grade 11.
The subject and career choice assessment process includes the following:
- In-depth interviews with the child and parent(s)/guardian(s)
- Assessment of interests, aptitude, personality and values.
- A feedback session to discuss the findings of the assessment to explore the different career/subject/study options suggested.
- A report is included together with useful career information.
